Models The numbers of models (series 40, 42 etc.) refer only to the body dimensions and plantilla (body outline). Therefore, for each model number there are a choice of variables such as body materials, inlays, rosettes, head design and scale lengths. Fingerboard widths, neck dimensions and string spacing can be tailored to individual requirements as can other details such as a 20th fret and radiused fingerboard. The dimensions of my standard concert guitar (series 40) are as follows: width of upper bout: 280mm; width of waist: 238mm; width of lower bout 367mm; scale length: 650 or 654mm. Smaller 'Torres' style guitars are also available. For example series 50 based on 'La Suprema' has the following dimensions: width of upper bout: 264mm; width of waist 220mm; width of lower bout 350mm; scale length: 650mm. Series 42 based on Tarrega's favourite Torres guitar made in 1888 has the following dimensions: width of upper bout: 272mm; width of waist 233mm; width of lower bout 357mm; scale length: 640, 650 or 654mm. The machine heads are made by David Rodgers which I fit as a standard.
